SAT STRUGGLES: NUMBER THEORY
---------------------------------------------------------------
So what does it take to perform well on the Number Theory section of the SAT? There is NO one easy path and no instructional practices in and of themselves that will guarantee that a student will perform well on the Number Theory portion of the SAT. But, it is an absolute MUST that a student understand and memorize a number of arithmetic facts that demand time, effort and concentration - in effect, hard work - if a student is going to perform well.

WHAT BROWSERS YOU WILL NEED HERE
-------------------------------------------------------------------
First, it is important that you have the proper web browser in order to use all the interactive features available here.
If you are a windows and/or mac user consider FIREFOX which will work with all the features here.
Internet Explorer is buggy and will not work well with the LIVE MATH modules that are embedded at this site.
Here are a list of browsers that you might want to consider:Firefox ,Internet Explorer ,Opera ,Safari and Google Chrome.

...
By our third year, most of us will have learned to count. Once we know how, it seems as if there would be nothing to stop us counting forever. But, while infinity might seem like an perfectly innocent idea, keep counting and you enter a paradoxical world where nothing is as it seems.
Mathematicians have discovered there are infinitely many infinities, each one infinitely bigger than the last. And if the universe goes on forever, the consequences are even more bizarre.*1

These discoveries could change the way we parent, teach, or perhaps even understand our teenagers.
